Soroptimist International is a worldwide organization for women in management and the professions with more than 90.000 members in 125 countries.
At the Soroptimist International Club of Dusit, we are 33 active women, dedicated to the cause of making a difference in women's and girls' lives here in Thailand.
We meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Four Seasons Hotel, 155 Ratchadamri Rd., Bangkok [BTS: Ratchadamri www.fourseasons.com/bangkok ]with the General Committee Meeting for all SI Dusit members and any interested guests, starting at 18.30 including dinner.
Interested guests may also be invited to join us for the General Committee meeting dinner, and then socialise with us throughtout the meal, and enjoy listening to our Guest Speaker, if this is part of the evening's programme.
We are a group of dedicated women, whose goal it is to ensure that girls enjoy equality, live in a safe and healthy environment, have access to education and help to gain leadership and practical skills.

On October the 8th, SI Dusit along with their sister club SI Bangkok, hosted the 2010 "COMBINED WOMENS LUNCH" [CWL].
The theme was PINK in recognition of October being the International Breast Cancer Month.
The name of our lunch was "CELEBRATE - WOMEN OF THE WORLD"
Over 400 Women attended, and both clubs and the Bangkok Cancer Support Group, were helped with extra funding for their individual projects.
