Dimple Duangthip Arora, our speaker for May 2010 , is a well-known holistic health and lifestyle consultant in Bangkok.

A Thai, of Indian origin, she feels blessed with exposure to the natural healing traditions of both cultures.  She practises the postnatal bodywork on women as used in Thailand, and the Ayurvedic massage on infants as done in India.

Her passion is for every mother  "to make confident and informed choices for herself and her child at the onset of life.  To lay a holistic foundation in terms of health, relationship and wellbeing in years to come.”

She spoke referencing her new book,  A New Age Manual for the New Mother: Postnatal and Beyond.

She explained the logic based on Ayurveda holistic philosophy behind the use of diet, lifestyle measures and herbs for specific ailments, so its simple wisdom can be applied by the common man and woman.

Her web site www.goldenawareness.com is a forum to reach out and share with readers and mothers. Reach her also at email: arora@goldenawareness.com.

It was a fascinating evening of wisdom and insights into healthful and productive lifestyles for families.
