Our first dinner at the 'Four Seasons Hotel' began very well. Our invited guest speaker was Mr John Williams, from the Peace Corps. According to his Peace Corps bio, "John assumed the position of Country Director of Peace Corps Thailand on December 28, 2002.

Fumiko Boughey visited our Sister club SI Hiroo, Tokyo Club in April. She expressed our sincere sympathy from SI Dusit towards their recent catastrophe that had unfortunately happened in Japan.

After having a very enthusiastic General Committee meeting, our guests began arriving at Alison's home. While the meeting had been coming to an end, we heard the clangs of plates being smashed. [ A practise run, we were told!].

Dimple Duangthip Arora, our speaker for May 2010 , is a well-known holistic health and lifestyle consultant in Bangkok.
A Thai, of Indian origin, she feels blessed with exposure to the natural healing traditions of both cultures. She practises the postnatal bodywork on women as used in Thailand, and the Ayurvedic massage on infants as done in India.
