Esteemed guest speaker MR Malinee Chakrabandhu
(aka: Khun Ying Mud) at SI Dusit.

After the summer break, we started off on August 19 with quite a treat: MR Malinee, well-known socialite, and currently Editor-in-Chief of Hello Magazine, gave quite an interesting as well as most entertaining talk about her father, HH Prince Chakrabandh Phensiri Chakrabandhu, anad his relationship to HM the King through music.

Mom Bongkojpriya Yugala provided a slideshow depicting early photos apropos to the talk. MR Malinee’s father wrote the lyrics for 28 of the King's songs, and also learned to play saxophone from HM King Bhumibol.

Moreover, she and her guitar accompanist performed two songs that His Majesty and her father composed during a stay in Switzerland.

Among the audience were members of both the SI Dusit Club and the SI Bangkok Club, family members of MR Malinee and artist Elizabeth Romhild.
